I was born in Buffalo and grew up in the most nondescript suburban household ever. As soon as I could get out of there, I jetted like a bat out of hell to the far reaches of rural New Hampshire for college. When I was done with that, I moved to Chicago because if I'd had to endure one more frost heave or moose crossing on my way to work I was going to lose it. Also, driving a half hour to the grocery store was getting old.
Chicago, Chicago, job, job, job, boyfriend, job, layoff, blah blah blah.
Moved back to Buffalo in 2003. Decided about a year in that I had to get out of the perpetual scene from "Office Space" that had become my life, and I went back to school to be what I'd always wanted to be - a Graphic Designer! After four years I had a shiny new B.F.A. in hand, but that wasn't enough. Two weeks after I finished my undergraduate internship I started my two year graduate program, and in 2011 was awarded an M.S. in Creative Studies.
I'm now working in my field and loving life.
